No. This is a key privacy feature. The app does not perform continuous, real-time GPS tracking. Location is only checked for a few seconds when an employee actively presses the 'Clock In' or 'Clock Out' button. No location data is collected during shifts, breaks, or outside of working hours.
No. Managers cannot see a live map or track employee movements. They can see that an employee is 'Clocked In' and at which work location, but they cannot see a live GPS dot on a map or view any movement history. The system is designed for attendance verification, not surveillance.
It uses geofencing. You define a virtual perimeter around an approved work location. When an employee clocks in via the mobile app, it checks their device's GPS to confirm they are inside this perimeter. If they are outside, the clock-in is blocked.
